Governance & dispute handling

Zizai does not delete ideas. Instead it exposes three self-governance layers so readers, authors, portal admins and node operators can make their own choices while every action stays traceable.

Three-layer boundary

1. Thought layer: no censorship of ideas. Counter-work, forks and parallel expression are always allowed.
2. Community layer: individuals and portals decide visibility for themselves; no local standard is forced on the whole site.
3. Infrastructure layer: only illegal content, malware, spam floods, identity fraud and resource attacks are constrained.

Available mechanisms

• Any user can block another user's contributions from their own view.
• Any user can hide a specific work from their own view without deleting it.
• Users can attach public labels to a work (source disputed, license disputed, context warning). Labels are visible signals, not takedowns.
• Authors can publish a public response on their own work to answer labels or add clarifying context.
• Portal admins choose what appears inside their portal. Hidden items still exist on the site.
• Master admins can suspend aggregation of a deployment; the deployment's content is not deleted, only excluded from the master's view.
• Every governance action is written to an audit log with actor, target, reason and time.

Appeals and history

When something changes on the platform — a status change, an access change, a label — the account that performed it can inspect the full history from their own governance log. Actions are never silent.
